- Ch1: DAPI (DNA stain — labels both intact nuclei and extracellular NET DNA)
- Ch2: NET-specific marker (e.g., MPO, neutrophil elastase, citrullinated histone H3 via IF or FITC)
- NET area per cell

- DNA decondensation metrics (increase in nuclear area, decrease in mean DNA intensity)
