Karl Johansson
Head of Customer Advisory chez Cytely
Karl (Kalle) Johansson is a biomedical scientist and the Head of Customer Advisory at Cytely. With a background in postdoctoral research, he partners with scientists to accelerate their insight generation. He helps them move beyond tedious, artisanal methods to get objective, reproducible data for challenging applications, from quantifying phagocytosis to verifying cell sample purity.
He earned his PhD in medicine at Lund University in 2020, studying how Shiga toxin signals in and damages human cells, before postdoctoral research in platelet immunology and microscopy data harmonisation.
